Look at this bad boy digger I just got!

So far I really like it! Seems solid and has a nice palm pushing spot on the back!

thanks, I think the fiskars is a cheap knockoff of the ames.. This is a bigger, better version of the blue ames digger at lowes. I will post if the handle breaks!

I too prefer the Lesche digging tool. I have not managed to break or bend it in a solid year of heavy use and it sharpens up real nice to cut roots and neat plugs. The Jackson tool looks like it will hold up, but you never know until it has been field tested for a couple of seasons. Good luck with it.

I have 2 of the blue handle diggers similiar to that but they don't have a sheath. Love that part of yours. Where did you get it?

I've seen that tool before and have it's cheaper twin, the True Temper but I still wanna know if yours is tang-through.
    The Ames is not.

I bought this same tool from Amazon.

I pried a 4x6" piece of iron out 4" down.
    Didn't even flex.

    I really like mine.

I bought the blue handled digger from Lowes for 19.99 CAD, then picked up 2 of the Jackson ones with the sheath for 5.93 CAD each...it is built WAY tougher than the blue handled one,and almost twice the weight. I love them.

Picked up the ames true tempor at lowes today. I gotta say feels strong, and is comfortable. The real test will be later on in the week out in the field. Hopefully it will hold up.
