    Knee pads

Anyone else use volleyball kneepads? Regular kneepad straps were eating up the back of my knee so I tried volleyball pads, world of difference! Just though I'd pass it on, sure many of you are using them already, Jhar.

They wrap more around the upper part of your calf, and the back of your knee and bottom of your thigh are free of wraps. Had 'em for some 4 or 5 years now.

Just ask Mac232 what happens when pads with buckle type straps on knee pads will do to you. He got blood clot in his thigh or leg earlier this year, and he is still on Coumadin. Plus all the pain that it cost him........NGE

Carry a couple of pairs of the cheap HF ones in the kit, in case I loose one / some. They come in handy if you gotta change a tire in dress slacks too
I know it's here, just need a bigger coil!

    Re: Knee pads

I have tried them all over the last 30 yrs hunting and finally found the ultimate in comfort and durability. Craftsman Professional series gel knee pads. Bit pricey at $29.99, but I will tell you this no more pinching on the back of your knees from straps and the gel pad on the inside is totally amazing, outer side has a hard rubber or plastic. Plus they are guaranteed for life.

Sears has a pair that is very similar: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...2&blockType=G2 they call them all terrain.

I will check them out tomorrow, I am tired of breaking the rubber loop straps, plus it sounds like the gel might be more comfortable.
