Should they be replaced regularly even if they still test good?

If there is reason to believe your battery tester is accurate, just go by what it says. If uncertain of its accuracy, you can do air tests & planted coin tests to see if depth, discrimination, target ID, etc, are still working as before. HH, George (MN)
