I fully endorse this product (spade)

There arent many products in the world that I simply hands down say that it is the best thing since sliced bread.... but here it is. I always carry a small spade detecting.... and now I have the toughest spade/machete/axe/defensive weapon I have experienced in one package. On top of that... I am cutting cleaner plugs.

The Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel. Typically just over $20 shipped.

Comes with a "utility edge" I took a file to mine and made it a bit sharper.

    Heres the manufacturers video.

If you ever hit the big one detecting....follow the 3S rule. Shoot. Shovel and Shut up.

i hope this product is being used in wide open feilds and not in local parks as lord knows it is bound to draw attention from the critics and possibly get you and anyone else swinging a coil and wheeling a shovel kicked out of the park for good

Very nice. I have one of the old folding GI shovels that was my dad's when he was in the army (VN). I was in the usaf and they didnt hand out shovels lol. I think the impotance of a quality digging tool is very underrated.

I use a Vietnam era entrenching tool. Works great.
