Killer Knee Pads

Picked these up today since I have been hunting in shorts this summer. They are tactical knee pads with hard polyamide caps for kneeling in gravel or hard ground. The sizing mechanism is adjusted for length by velcro and attached with clips. The benefit is that the Velcro will never wear out. Once it is adjusted its adjusted. The size is also minimal while giving adequate protection.

You can get them in black, ACU digital camouflage, or coyote brown (shown). They are made by HWI and can be purchased online at Ranger Joe's.

Outside links are a no-no Jadocs.

I like kneepads that are better cushioned and have a one strap attachment, like Craftsman Gel Zone pads. They are comfortable with shorts, and never lose the gel cushioning.

I like those tactical knee pads. I used to cut the top strap off on all my knee pads. Restricts blood flow too much for me. I actually wear them for a living sometimes, so they need to be comfortable. I use Gundlach leatherheads nowadays myself.

I can not imagine hunting all day with out them. Its ok to name them just don't link them. I use a good gel knee pad you can get at Lowes or Home Depot. The trick is finding one that is comfy behind the knee for long periods and that fastens well.
