Thanks! I really like the D-Handle post hole shovel that I have for digging. The issue I have is the appearance when someone sees a big shovel. My idea is to take my Etool and combine it with the post hole shovel. I'm gonna trim a little of the post hole shovel and shape the blade a little differently and then weld it to the Etool handle. Pics to follow.

I was worried about the big shovel too. I went with the USGI e-tool in a pouch, mainly because it was cheaper, but also because you can fold it up into a pouch the size of a tablet. Between that and my granny's garden trowel, I look pretty innocuous too.

Don't forget to post us some pictures when you are done. Shovels are decidedly low tech, we should all be customizing them to our hearts content!
