I contacted a few suppliers to see if there existed a long handled pin pointer, I have had both knees replaced so kneeling down is no longer something I can do, as expected they do not exist without one I have to call my detecting buddy over to locate smaller items "hes a tolerant type" ..Does anyone know if this item exists?
Or do any members have an idea to modify one?....call this a challenge I am interested to see what comes back Many thanks,........Bonz

Sorry to hear your having trouble bending ...you could tape your pin pointer to a broom handle or a thin wooden dowel.
Hope you find some way to cope good luck .

Try using a light weight plastic tube /pipe that you can flip to turn pp on or flip over to turn off and see if you can possibly mount it to the shaft of your detector.... good luck

Pvc pipe is the miracle material, you could even do a 90 degree pistol grip handle on the end. Cut, split, modify other end to attach to your pinpointer with duct tape, hose clamp, glue, whatever works
