Dang near too pretty to use! I like this style because they ride flat on your hip unlike the Lesche style with the big 90 degree bend with the handle welded to it. I like the stainless butt cap on this too. I have never used the Lesche style and I'm sure they are great for digging but it seems it would be awkward protruding from your hip 2 inches. Besides Hori Hori translates to Dig Dig! I added the lanyard but the hole is already there. 1518473532372.jpg

I know a few MDers that swear by them, but I prefer my Lesche hand digger.

Fiskars says theirs wont bend or break so if it does I will test their Lifetime Warranty. What brand is yours? There are lot of cheap ones out there on Ebay and Amazon.

This Fiskar is stainless too. Seems to be a good heat treated blade as it is magnetic like a good stainless knife is. Lots of people will tell you stainless isnt magnetic but every good stainless knife is.

did kind of the same thing. On line AM Leonard has a heavy duty deluxe soil knife. Very heavy, nice handle with leather sheath. $24 without sheath, about $30 with. You can get a coupon for $10 off 1st order and sometimes free shipping. Great heavy built knife.
