Whites MXT sound problem

I have an old Whites machine, that just now decided to quit playing sound on my earphones. It works fine without the earphones, but I'd like the earphones to work. The screen says what signal I have, but with volume all the way up, I can't hear a thing.

Could be the phone jack receptacle not making contact. Should be an easy fix for an electronics guy. Did you try other phones?

If the speaker still works it might just be a bad headphone jack. HH
