??? What??? Are you asking about one of those LRL scam detectors? Theres no such thing as ionization of gold in a natural environment.

A gold ion would be an atom of gold one or more electrons missing in the outermost shell. Normally 1 or 3.

But it doesn't hang around like that once formed. It quickly forms Gold(III) fluoride, Gold(III) chloride, Gold(III) bromide, Gold(III) sulfide, etc. And those are no longer ions. Gold would be easier to detect with a metal detector than any of those compounds.

Gold is a very noble metal and doesn't react with oxygen or water. Some acids. It doesn't emit "waves" or vibrate harmoniously throughout a sample. Forget the quack physics.

What is really about the ionization of gold if it is buried and the use of ion meter? Thanks
