    Detecting in State Parks (FL)

Hey everyone, I'm new here, so pardon me if this has been covered a million times. Are there any kind of laws prohibiting MD'ing in state parks? Should I just get permission from the guards or park personnel first? I'm new to the whole hunting with permission thing, so any help would really be appreciated. Thanks

Edit: Did my search like I should have the first time, disregard the question...

    Sand-duner ,

    Welcome to TN........

State Parks that border the ocean many times allowed hunting on the beach between the toe of the dune and the water, but you have to check with the rangers first before detecting. Inland all Florida State Parks are off limits, all National Parks, National Seashore, and National forests are off limits as well in Florida. Most county parks and city parks are legal unless otherwise posted.
