Here's an anti metal detecting/relic hunting/bottle digging bill in WA State

The bill is in both the House and the Senate. They are identical.
    House bill number is HB1177

This is a very dangerous bill. It would set a very bad precedent. It "discourages" digging on private property. If passed the next, and certain step, would be a permit. This would make it illegal to dig even on your own property. Let the legislators know about this serious attack on your private property rights.

This bill did not get a vote in the last session but got a "do pass" recommendation from the committee.

Such information shall not constitute a public record which requires disclosure pursuant to the exception authorized in chapter 42.56 RCW to avoid site depredation.

Is there an update on this? Did it make it through or was it hopefully shot down? I'm just down south a bit from WA, and hope this doesnt spill into my woods.
