Help with estate auction

Hello everyone, I have a question. does anyone know who to find out when and where an estate auction is. Here is the deal. My girlfriends father passed away this past november. I know there will be an auction. I just dont know when and where. I dont want to ask my girlfriend because I know something that she wanted to have but did not get. So my idea is to find out when and where and go and get it for her. I have looked in the paper and I have not seen it. Maybe it has not been set/settled yet. Are there any websites to check? Will the local courthouse be able to give me that info? Thanks to all.

Best way would be to simply ask the estate rep. If that is not an option, simply call any local auction houses/estate dealers and ask
about upcoming events. Good luck!
