So... the answer to this problem of power greed is... give nothing that you want to be recognized or reimbursed for.

Sharing with officials has always been a one way street when dealing with them.

Tis a shame.

Neither is sovereign aggression.

No, but the article is written as if a government being immune from suit is some major change to the law. It's not and if anything, sovereign immunity has been gradually eroded over time (at least in some respects).
