Good site about archeologists and metel detectorists

    http://www.marylandhistoricaltrust.net/faq-metal.html

Check out the above site guys to get a feel for what archaeologists are crying about. Seems that they are most concerned with those detectorists that are hunting on historic sites illegally or those who are actively seeking war and other historic relics.
Let me know what you think.

For the moment, I find it to be an informative publication. I intend to research this energetically as it applies to my home state since it covers a bordering state. For now, I think it's a great starting point for "covering my own tail". Thanks for posting it.

I tried and tried to email Dr Hall to ask him a few questions since he appeared to be somewhat reasonable, for an Archie, about our hobby. I just couldn't bring myself to do it though because I just plain can't trust these guys and it'd probably be as fruitless as teaching a pig to sing. Something just plain didn't smell right.
