I quit watching when he said he doesn't fill the holes.

He is as much a joke as Obammy is prez.

Re: Is this guy for real?

That was funny as hell! Pretty much looked like the average person that tries this hobby! I am LMAO at that one! I don't think this hobby is cut out for him! Let's call that clip......" The 6 minute penny man" 8) I would like to add......That was the funniest MDing video I have ever seen in my life! I commend you on your sense of humor for posting this video for us to laugh our asses off at! Thank you!

I would also like to add that...yeah, This guy is everything in a person that we do not want out in the field! I don't think we have to worry, he's not going to make it!

Re: Is this guy for real?

I stopped when he said --gee the park management said it was illegal to hunt here ... ok jerk film yourself doing what you know and even admit to on tape to knowing is a illegal act --- all they got to do show this video clip to the judge / jury --- well he was warned before he even admits in this video clip -- they told him before *(let him off with a "warning" I guess )--- and he still went ahead and knowingly and willingly broke the law anyhow --- case opened / case closed -- what a total idiot and airhead -- a perfect exsample of what NOT to do as a detectorist.

#1 hes knowingly and willingly hunting an area that he has already be warned is "off limits" by park management -- thus he can easily be arrested for breaking the law -- hes pushing it -- got off with a "warning" the first time --- if they say no metal detecting in the park --that means the whole park

#2 he digs holes and leaves them open ---most likely thats what got metal detecting banned there in the first place ---now go do it else where and get detecting banned there too ---jerk

#3 he throws cents and nickles "back"--- ( I bet he lust leaves dug up trash lying there -- clean up what you dig---( all the money you keep --you dug it keep it --clad adds up over time) --or else you can just redig it next time you come back -- smarts is not this guys strong suit for sure

#4 theres no record of what was here --yes there is --land deeds --history books -- old timers stories --hes just too dang lazy and dumb to find out --so he wastes his time digging clad. --- glad to see he didn't find squat .

His last comment was "I need a girl detector"

I think he needs a brain detector. Obvioiusly he hasn't found one yet.

I think he was for real. Probably a wannabe la-la film actor/director. I think that was his first and last hunt. Thank God. A filmed record of how not to metal detect!

I didn't think so, but you might be right. I hope you are. Maybe this guy said I'm going to make a video where I'm a total @#%& and push the buttons of the metal detecting community.

Even if it is, it is BAD publicity for our hobby.  Did you see the one where he was detecting a yard on a house that he thought was foreclosed on, and there were folks still living there who filmed a video as they came out and kicked him off their lawn?

    It is the same guy.

    Awful.

Because there will be folks that view that video that think it is real, regardless of whether it is or not.

Re: Is this guy for real?

should got the plate number on the car * --have the cops track em down via the tag --and arrest his butt for tesspass and vandelism * if its real --funny how the "home owner" did not get the tag number when he easily could have and how the garage door was "open"--- I think its staged iand in very very bad taste

Re: Is this guy for real?

My guess would be a Archie trying to discredit the MDing people. Or quite possibly one of the many disgruntled leftist commies who have gotten an a$$ whooping in this or another MD forum and is acting out against the right leaning MDing community et al. Probably someone like pimple white paws or some other loser like him. Wonder if that might actually be him in the videos since we all know what a troll he is ?

This guy is attacking our hobby. He is NOT a true metal detectorist, he is an insidious lunatic activist trying to discredit and bring negative attention to metal detecting! I have known these "types" before and they are no good. They will do any and everything in their power to bring down the object of their "cause". He needs to be stopped.

Maybe we should bring in the site moderator to have this guy banned from this site. He has freedom of speach but let him do it somewhere else.
