Thanks for sharing this video with us. My father served there and still carried shrapnel in his body till he died just a few years ago. Occasionally a piece would work its way out but his shins and legs were full of it.

Just simply amazing! Wow . I went through BASTOGNE about a year ago and will never forget it.I dreamed about detecting there but I did not bring my detector and had the family with me also.My wives grand father was there in a tank destroyer battalion and was headed to the rear for some RandR when they got turned around and thrown right back into the fight. Most of their gear was on a truck that went to the rear so they had very little cold weather gear and was low on everything.
