Re: where is described location???

Western than Vienna, northern than Rome,
Mary swims in river,(England)
and behind the eagle’s claw, (new Zealand)
three guards overlook the peak of cold, (slovakia) ...Tatra, Fatra, Matra
but the middle one only stands on my burden and reward ....Hungary :icon_queen:

Lake Geneva...looks like an eagle claw to me. And it fits the location.

Re: where is described location???

I am not sure money really exists, but the book claims there is 3,4 million dollars.

Geneva is.

Switzerland is immediately west of Vienna's country (Austria). It is also immediately north of Rome's country (Italy).

Check out the snow capped peaks east of Lake Geneva (behind the claw?). Is there, or WAS there castles ( maybe 3 of them) which overlooked one of these peaks? Maybe there was ONE castle with 3 guard towers. Or, maybe it's 3 other peaks overlooking the peak of cold.
...Just a few thoughts.

Re: where is described location???

I must admit you are all great thinkers and have good logic. I wouldn't find out about so many possible locations and practically all are fitting.

However on the web site I saw that author is from Slovenia, so maybe money should be there.

Do you mind telling us the website to see if there is anything there to help this along? When was the information written?

West of Vienna and North or Rome there are 2 rivers that would flow out of Austria. One of those is the "Inn River" which flows into Switzerland and into the ALPS. Not to Geneva, but into the Alps. The other goes into Germany, which could be represented by the Eagle claw I guess during Nazi control etc, but I believe it goes to Bavaria region.

OK.. I sort of thought out of the box a little on this one, and came up with this scenario...

Western than Vienna, Northern than Rome
= Hitler's Berghof Home, often wrongly described as the 'Eagles Nest'. (The real Eagles Nest is nearby Kehlsteinhaus).

Mary swims in river = Possibly a reference to Magda Goebbels (Wife of Hitler's Right hand Man)

Eagles Claw ..Maybe the German or Austrian Flag

3 Guards ... Look how many arches overlook the peak.

I am undoubtedly a zillion miles from getting this, but it's been a fun hour researching it!!!

Well yeah... but I got the River part wrong, there isn't one near the site as far as I can see. I've amended that... but still looking for clues... ;D
