    Spanish Fleet Off SW Florida

    I just got some documents from the archives that tells of a fleet of galleons that sank off Cape Romano in 1567. Anyone have a boat? I have a sidescan sonar and a mag.

    Burt Webber and another Guy tried to get a permit for a wreck down there and were refused because that area is a bird sanctuary/rookery.
    Where did you get the documents?

    The documents came from the Archive of the Indies in Seville, Spain. They were sent to me by none other than Pavel Novak!
