    Ringgold Georgia

    Does anyone have any leads in or near Ringgold Georgia or the Chattanooga TN area. Ringgold is about 15 miles from Chattanooga just over the state line. There was a battle there called the battle of Ringgold Gap. Any info on possible sites or general info concerning that battle would be of help. Thanks.

    buy the book Georgia's treasure hoards...the author is a fellow named Andrews if i am not mistaken....check the Soclum books and maps web-page...there are a couple of leads on Ringold and information on the trail that starts there and goes all the way to Atlanta and beyond...

    The quick way to find info. on Ringgold is go to search on your main page , like AOL or COMCAST and just type in Ringgold Ga.Civil War, and it will turn up a lot of info. on Ringgold. Jack in Atlanta 8)

    Go to the new visitors center located on the RR. They can give loads of info.
