CARSON CITY MINT SEWER GOLD NEWSPAPER ARTICLE

I thought this article was neat about missing gold being washed down the sewer. $2k/ton then is worth about $160k/ton today. Mind you a yard of dirt weighs in at a little over a ton. That is a lot of gold per yard of dirt. I wonder if it is still there or where it dumped out at?
