So...All you need is the location of the 'old' BULL RING?
You, who are on the road must have a code that you can live by.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
The event was called "La Fiesta de Yuma". Captain Garcia was from Juarez, MX; his wound did prove fatal.

The Arizona Sentinel was the 'rag' of the day.
Perhaps their archives might show where the bullring was located.

Back in those days, Arizona was not yet a state; so research should concentrate on Arizona Territory.
Finding an 1890s map of Yuma would be most helpful.
Gateway Park would certainly be a candidate for the bullring.

I looked at those maps yet failed to see any 'bullring'. Another source noted the bullring as an ampitheater; couldn't find that designation either.
I'll back out of this thread now and await your next treasure lead. All the best, Don.....

Yea I'm at an end also.
I looked for Pics etc. the Arizona Sentinel's article http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lc...arRange&page=1
was interesting But no new info.
Will take a Historical society to say for Sure.
I wouldn't Rule out the Corral area and north, Though it's hard to tell where it was.
But may be the Tesla Area

I lied. I'm backed.
Here's a source I'd pursue if I were going further into that research:
Library and Archives | Arizona Historical Society
