    Crawford County...Jesse Taylors Gold

On July 28, 1869 Jesse Grandville Taylor filed Homestead Application
No. 2597 in Crawford County, Arkansas. This is where Jesse Taylor died
    between 1874 and 1880.
Jessie Taylor buried gold on his farm in Crawford County, Arkansas. He
could not remember where he buried it, and looked for it often before he
    died.

    6. Jesse James spent the night at the Taylor's farm in Crawford County,
Arkansas. The next morning he left money under Aunt Lizzie's plate.
