From an Article by Gen. Duke in the August Bivouac on the Fall of Richmond.

The treasure never left Macon GA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last treasure of the CSA lived in Macon, His home still stands, In the home there is a passage way under a stair case that leads to the Tunnels Under Macon, GA --- The tunnels lead to the river Via a Catholic cemetery and church ----- The tunnels were later increased more under the city with stops under major business locations ------------ I have been researching this for the past 3 years maybe its time to pass it one to more inquiring minds
