Does anyone know anything about Charles Ney’s fortune?

So I’ve been researching Charles Ney’s lost fortune for awhile now and I’m almost ready to go look for it (of course, I still have to wait until the ground isn’t frozen). But I’m wondering if anyone has heard of it and/or has any extra info on it. If you don’t know the story here the quick version is: Charles Ney was a rich brewery operator in Henderson, MN, who obtained a fortune from his business. However, after he died, his fortune was nowhere to be found. Charles hadn’t made any transactions recently and he didn’t give any money to his heirs, so where is his fortune?
