It was sad when he died. They came to town here all the time. Jim Oliver also known as JC is a regular here in town. You can hear him coming with all his bells and beads! And yes he drives an old van with a wood burning stove inside with the smokestack sticking out the top with smoke trailing behind....it is a sight to see!

Too bad, there are not enough people like them anymore. Good story.
I had some relatives living back in the mountains that were kind of
eccentric too. To say the least.

I can't find it, and, only remember it was about a local (MT) man who was an eccentric, eclectic and intersting fella.
