FOR CONTEMPT
Although Eighty-four Years of Age He Goes to Jail
Last Saturday a case was being tried in Bellefontaine against George Kautzman
for concealing $1600.00 of the estate of the deceased wife of John Kautzman,.
A few days ago it was disclosed that George Kautzman had paid over the sum
of $1600.00 to John Kautzman, and that John Kautzman had buried the same.
Kautzman claims the 1600.00 as his own money, and admitted in probate court
last Saturday that he had buried the treasure in Rushcreek township, but
flatly refused to give any description of the place where it was buried. The
probate judge sent him to jail for contempt. Mr. Kautzman is eighty-four
years of age and infirm in health. The Bellefontaine Examiner says the old
gentlemen's incarceration will cause.....

That was the end of the page....maybe with alittle research for you in Ohio, this might be a good lead....start with plat maps showing whereMr Kautzman;s homestead was
