These springs are now surrounded by developed properties, ranches, etc. The area is not referred to by Willow Springs anymore, nowadays its Indian Springs. The legend goes that, in the springs north of the creek $88,000 in spanish gold is buried. Good luck to anyone who knows the property owners.

Here is a photograph from a very old map marking the site in the willow springs area.

The legend as I understand it is that the gold is buried in one of the springs the area was named for. The springs that are left are all on private property.
