This Cache tale (Rumor) is apparently only known by a few close by residents.

the Person who first told me about it hit the lottery & moved to Las Vegas
before I could sit down with him for details.
he was always hitting the lottery, so the move was smart.
I asked his sister a few years later & all she could tell me was
there is supposed to be money buried behind the store.
she either wouldn't or couldn't give better details :(

Over the years I tried to get more details but the Only thing I could find out is
There is supposed to be a Cache buried behind the Store.

I searched the area years ago (late 70's early 80's) Before Land owners changed
their attitudes on people using their lands .

last time I checked 2008'ish I was quoted $100.00 per year for a Permit to use their coal lands
for recreational purposes.

the town does not look laid out exactly as in the picture.

I am showing my artistic talents here with apologies :laughing7:

looking down the streets towards the East
Cellar holes are Up on a hill on the right
so houses sat up on that side like this

plus the main street through town is really only about as wide as an SUV

Somewhere above the the Stables the Tunnel Burst
during the Hurricane Agnes flood of 1972.
it may have taken the Stables out.
when I was last up there was a large ditch to the west of the road in from the north.
it either took out the land the stables were on, or just missed it to the west :dontknow:

I am giving this info only as a lead to a possible cache .

I am trusting that if anyone decides to go further into this,
they follow the laws and not trespass illegally .

at this point this is the Property owner

No Idea where the Grove at the Bottom of the Mountain Was,
But would be Nice to Find.
