I wonder if they had the body removed before everybody showed up for some quick looting. Nothing has changed over the intervening 106 years, believe me, people are still the same as they were then. I see the cops came in for round 2, knowing there were no heirs, since the family had been wiped out, I'm sure their search was as "thorough" as possible. Probably nothing but trash left to be tossed out on the curb after everybody helped themselves.
