There is just over 100 miles of SD north of Ft. Pierre before you get to ND. The farm is in SD, probably somewhere near Gettysburg or on the Standing Rock Reservation, near the river.

Ft. Pierre is across the Missouri River just west of the SD capital; Pierre, SD.
