I think this will be the title, it's ready for proof reading.
Today I found for Meade County that the listing by Thomas Terry for the 450 lbs of gold buried along Lame Johnny Creek is in error, since the creek appears not to be in that county. Johnny creek is there, so is the listing wrong or is just the creek name wrong? Lots to check into on this stuff. Still I would not suggest buying the book, it is intended for tourist traffic.
He did a lot of work putting it together, he condensed it down to basic info to fit the books. To better understand him and what he did one needs to read all of his works. Then they will see he did travel across the country to several places out west, New Orleans (treasure hunting) and the Library of Congress (research). Someone claims he borrowed from Penfield, but the truth is they used the same source material. I found how Terry did it and am recreating it in reverse, expanding them into full stories. The Museums for these areas are jumping on carrying them. Terry did 26 books I believe, I am nearing 20. So when I am done with the Black Hills, Oroblanco you get a free copy.
Might as well PM your mailing address. I also have the Lost Treasures of the Dakota's book to proof on my plate this evening.
