Confederate Raid on Randolph County & the Town of "New Interest" ? December, 1864

* I cannot find the town of "New Interest" ?
Name Change or Ghost ? it was/is in Randolph County,
and appears it was Important at the time. No mention after 1884.

Daily Ohio statesman. (Columbus, Ohio), 16 Dec. 1864.

You are welcome Jeff ! Might be worth some time to take a trip down to the Elkins area to talk with some of the local historians there. A lot of history in that area.
