    State Tales

Most of you have probably seen this clickable US map of tales of treasure for each state.
For those who haven't, take a look.

    Re: State Tales

The one for Texas used to cover the Bolton cache (Col. Ebenezzar Bolton ...sorry if for spelling on the first name) purported to be up in Pittsburg, Texas. Does anyone have any further information on this? From what I understand it's a family cemetary and a 2000 acre section of land. I am in the course of doing some research on this, including the boundaries of the original area, whom the current owners of the land are, and have two buddies who are game for helping me do the actual physical hunting with some equipment. If anyone has any information that they are willing to share that is helpful (even if it is "this is bogus"), I would greatly appreciate it as I am nowhere near as experienced as most of the other TH'ers on these forums.

You can go to "Research Archives" and do a search to find any story. You have to order the story, but It's usually not very expensive.
