    Legend of Freddie Crystal

    Years ago I read that in the mid 20th Century out west a cowboy named Freddie Crystal came into a town and talked people into outfitting him
    to search for treasure...he went out...and came back several years later and talked people to go on a treasure expedition....nothing was found.
    Did this story actually happen--or just a good story
