I am new to these boards and this hobby has always fascinated me and I've just recently been handed alot of free time and thought maybe to try my hand at it. I live in Northern CA(Lake Co. specifically) and have been trying to find stories about things in my area. I've heard stories of Black Bart's dealings around this area, but not much else. I'm hoping maybe somewhere on these boards could provide me a few links for info about treasure and etc. in Northern CA. Right now I'm not actively outdoors searching, more into researching and reading first. Any pointers and help would be appreciated. Even if I do not go out and dig or what have you any time soon, just the reading and reasearching of stories and whispers I find intriguing and fun.
