Texas Lakes -
Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this place so bear with me.
I was wondering about any artifacts that may be lost in any of the TX lakes. Lake Falcon on the Mexican border is supposed to have villages buried underwater. Can anybody give me some information on this?

Re: Texas Lakes -
I lived just up the hill from old Zapata. just foundations are left but the roads etc make it easy to get around. Wasn't metal detecting when I lived there but never saw anyone else hunting down there either. Did dig in the old dump several times and found some awsome bottles. Also alot of arrowheads in the area. Good luck hunting. Watch out for the snakes. Jeff Tx

I'd be a little careful around the Falcon Lake area if I were you. The Mexican drug cartels are killing folks around that area recently!
