Maps from what? When he was in Minnesota? When he was being chased by the posse? Please add more information. Thanks - I can't see the pic that well.

:hello: Naw... April 3, 1882; his brother Frank (& family) were living in Lynchburg, Va. :icon_thumleft: Frank was "James Warren"; 7th Chapt. (7th Day) of "James & Younger: The Life & Trial of Frank James"; ("Google it")... Civil War, St. Louis "Series".

this is just a small part of Bigger Map......like all maps....one must see the whole thing before making judgements....
As far as Dates on maps......they are not always dates......hidden in plain sight so to speak..... Take "April 1866"......what does that mean?

4th Month = North 1866 = hides the fact "sine of 60 degrees" .....so be leary of what seems obvious and look deeper into it.....

jj12124:

The James-Younger paid a visit to Minnesota September 7, 1876, when they tried to make withdrawls from two Northfield banks. Since they didn't have an account at either establishment, the locals took offense and then went on the offense.

The annual recognition of that event uses the slogan "Jesse James Slipped Here."

You'll find most folks on TN are helpful - your initial post really didn't give people much to work with. We all know there's an important balance between showing your entire hand (probably not the best idea on a public forum) and keeping all your cards close to the vest.

Good luck to all,
