Great pictures. I'm excited for you and thanks for sharing. It looks Like a different sun angle would bring a lot of interesting things out clearly. Might be some surprises. Have fun! Jim

I think the 3rd photo is a duck, sitting on an egg instead of an owl.

Guys, cool stuff. Thom, thanks. Been reading and writing heavily.

I thought the red circle contained an owl pointing its wing at the crack. I was referring to what shortstack called an owl as a fencepost or chess piece. The MB is actually right above its head. I thought with the cracks and the wall this was a deathtrap. I've heard some things about owls and Minerva. Across from the owl shortstack mentioned is a winged lion.

Now, this is where I may be stretching. On pictures 1 and 2 does anybody see a king and a knight (possibly with a raised fist). Or a knight next to a peasant? Like this guy? A lot of those around here. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=282372.0;attach=437981;image

Just thought it would be good to share some prime stuff. This is a real monument yard.

gorgias,
The reason I called that free standing figure an Owl is because it's wings come together as a sharp edge. You can see it better in photo #2. Also in #2, there is a hoya at the ground formed by the huge bolder just in front of the owl. (lower right corner of photo)

Goldguru,

That's actually a lion's head. You just can't see it at this angle.
