Hello everyone,

I found a charm or medal MDing in the beach it has a right foot with wings it looks religious or masonic.
On the back it has the word sterling and some initials "HRY" or "HNY" the only letter that you can clearly read is the "H"

Does anyone knows what it is???????

I am still in my hunting trip, will post pics when I get back home.

Best,

Chagy........

Got the pics, ENJOY!!!!!!

one of the old gas stations used a foot with wings as its symbol , can't remember which one though, also red wing boots i think at one time used the same symbol, both i think were red on white background.............gldhntr

I think it was in pre-French history, there was a legendary hero who would be depicted with winged feet (I think it might have been Vercingetorix, the druid king). Almost sounds Roman, too. What country did you find it?

I found it in Treasure Coast in Florida there is a shipwreck from England near by called the "Sping of Whitby"
It looks old and rare maybe religious or masonic. it is a right foot with wings facing down not side ways like the symbol for running, you can clearly see the toes.

I will post some pics when I get home, I have one more day to hunt the beach,

Best,

Chagy.......

In the 1300's the Knights Templar with Sinclair sailed across the Atlantic to Nova Scotia, then went south. May be totally unrelated, but I'm one who never rules anything out.
