well, johunt, read these forums and watch the signs real close. i have mostly tree signs but where you are you will probably find signs on both rocks and trees. very interesting thing once you find something, signs that is. if you find any, post them here
to get help on what the signs are saying. don't tell where they are because there are those who watch and say nothing, just waiting for a beginner to say WHERE the signs are. have fun with it.

Welcome to the forum, Johunt and ditto what 10claw said. There are stone monuments in Vermont and New Hampshire left by the Ancients, so, by deduction, there should be some in New York State. Good luck.
