Definitely nice area, MIkel. That first pic is full of signs. Was that the last time for sure. I was hoping that once you took them up there . They would allow you to come back.

I didn't go in there. I rested on the stone cube that was in the doorway.
The opening developed when the stone moved about three feet out of a corner.

The stone " faces " are a few yards inside the cave, and were photographed by Weekender.

I hope that we will hear from him on that matter.

I think God moved it for you. It was covered before? Is that where you thought the covered entry was?

No. The opening that we were seeking was somewhere around an eighth to a quarter of a mile away.
This one is at a lower elevation.

I need to work on my topo map to be sure.

Personally, I believe He has worked to keep me out.

I am halfway done getting my pics available.

They're in my laptop. I have taken a few screen shots to post.

This should be Weekender stepping out of the cave, where he photographed the "two faces".

This should be Weekender taking the photo, inside the other bluff that I tried to explain.

There are things that i comment on in this pic that do not look natural, yet defy explanation.

I didn't see them until I saw the pic.

I traced our path on my topo map to get an idea as to the elevation, relative to the damage and changes.

Most common elevation of change appears near 1,840 to 1,900 feet.

It's not clear what happened, but IMHO there is a common denominator...

Ya'll don't let Mikel fool you about the trip. He's got game. Most of the mountain side we were crossing was at a 45^ or more slope.
He was there every step of the way. It was an honor to walk the mountain with him. It was a trip to remember. I'll put up a few more
pictures shortly inside the cave and ..... vault.

Here is another picture of the vault. What you can't see in this picture
is at the end and to the right. A nice square chamber empty.... ?
The opening was tucked back under that bluff edge hidden in the shadows,
You had to be standing in just the right spot to even see it. It looked like a
black crack in the bluff wall. More later.. with Mikel's permission.

I'm probably wrong, and am just seeing aspecting in the image, but I thought I saw writing, drawing and a heart on the right hand side of the cave. Am I correct?

Chadeaux, are you talking about the pic in Weekender's post, or the pic that I took of him in the hole?

Both pics are of an area that was hidden behind ten to twenty feet of mixed earth, that was washed away within the last few years.

If it the pic that I took of him, it is a pic of my laptop screen.

And, yes there are markings of some sort in the latter. There are markings on the original pic, plus there are pink and white scrape markings on many of the pics that do not show up in my reproductions.

Weekender and I saw a lot of the pink and white scrape markings that didn't get photographed.
