CG or real? I know where it was filmed..

There is a new movie called "Cowboys and Aliens" to be out shortly and I was watching the promo at the 13 second mark, well have a look is it CG or a marker on the rock face behind the guy..

When I first spotted the shot, my first reaction was CG, alien signs on the rocks, then I went no wait.... So I wonder where they did the shot.

If you watch the movie, the credits at the end of the film will have notations thanking the people in the area where the movie is made. Something like , "Thanks to the Arizona Film Commission" or "filmed on location in the four corners area of New Mexico". These are just a couple of loose examples.

Went to see the movie, first a short review....

Good movie, lots of surprises, twists and turns, lots of gratuitous violence, so two thumbs up go and see it....

Now on to the movie, I was disappointed that they did not include the clip that is posted on their preview, same scene different camera angle. However I did wait to the bitter end of the credits to see where this was filmed.... Two places one called "Silver river" and the other "Ghost Ranch" both in NM...

If any of you go for a look, and find the spot, take lots of photos and post them here....
