    Arkansas markings. More images

Ok boys and girls, I'm a Mississippi boy who has been visiting this forum for a while now. I am very interested in everyone's post, however never thought I would see any signs and symbols in person in the Southeast. Although, I was wrong. Just got back from Northern Arkansas this weekend visiting the in-laws. Took the kids to a state park that had a cave you can tour. We went first down to where the underground river comes out of the mountain. While the kids were playing, I was just taking in the sights, and then I saw the first marker. Of course after seeing the first one, I began to see more. I ended up on my own little trail adventure before I knew it. I'm gonna post pics of what I saw. Please help me to decode the images.

Any ideas on the markings in the pics? Or am I just seeing things?

Hi Foster. Sorry your pics and thread didn't get much action. I don't know why. Hopefully some more knowledgeable hunters than me come along.

I will offer my insite for what its worth.

    Pic 1 - Gorgious.

Pic 2 - I personally dont feel it is a drill hole. Not uniform enough. Natural.

Pic 3 - very interesting and a busy rock. However I have seen that type of formation before and I'm sure it was ID'd as natural as well.

Pic 4 - Now this appears to be man made. Perfectly uniform and even. Appears to be the symbol for "infinity". But I have never seen it used as a rock carving before so i dont know.

Pic 5 - Gorgious. Look up the rock wall above the lady in the blue shirt. Looks like 2 hearts side by side. Just guessing.

Pic 6 - Possibley a bird head or pointer facing right. Don't really have enough to go on so I'm not sure if its real or not.

Pic 7 - Looks like stone steps leading down. Not sure why they would take the time to make these. I'm guessing just a natural fluke.

Pic 8 - The X looks real to me.

Pic 9 - So many cracks I think this is natural even though I want to say otherwise.

Good luck on ur trip back. Look for more signs, take lots of pics and watch for carvings on trees as well.
