Been fishing here before, now turtles everywhere!

    Howdy all,
I've been working at understanding more about treasure marks and signs from this wonderful T-net forum. I feel like I'm on to something, left behind or lost from a bygone era.
I'm not sure if this has a KGC or outlaw connection or both. Many other symbols read like picture talk about this or that through geography, mythology, histories, etc. We've always heard that a picture is worth a thousand words.
Well here's a new one I've got to looking at. To the South near the center at the bottom of my map are painted a couple rocks sticking up from the ground that look very much like turtle heads you might see bob up while your out fishing on a lake.
There are some other stones sitting on the ground that seem nondescript singularly but grouped together remind me of the Big Dipper and the Little Dipper.
In the center focal point of this artwork are a group of five bigger stones in a circle sort of like a teepee ring but seems to look more like a five pointed star.
In the background along the plane of the horizon are two, maybe three buttes, the third one to the right might only be a stain mark. The bigger maybe closer butte on the left side is roundish in profile on top are small points along the rim like the back of a sawback turtle. I got a used book recently that has some nice glossy coated pictures of the many species of map turtles.
I'm starting to gather that maybe turtles are an old Spanish treasure marker and that the symbol was also used as a password for the KGC. If anyone wants to enlighten me more about turtle talk, go right ahead. For a number of years I used to keep a pet red eared slider since it was a hatchling.
I have a previous post from back in July 2011, in the New Member Introductions section called Copperhead Road that can explain a little more for now if you hadn't heard about this project yet.

Here is just one of a few older pictures I'm choosing to disclose for right now.
Penciled on the back frame I believe it reads #12 Paid $5.50.
I just see a few chips, scratches and pinholes that spoil the image.
It's either had a touch up, repair or erased image about where a signature might fit.
I've now got a newer camera so that I might show some individual close ups later but will not disclose the entire work of this western art/treasure map in whole.
The only thing is, that I'm going to have to look for a older running SD card reader to pick which images to post into an older running PC.
There is one close up pic or two or three the are really fascinating. For instance how a Copper colored background blends into a Gray foreground. When i was looking closer into this section i noticed a faint Golden Road streaked in two lines across the copper part above like a trail maybe disappearing off into the distance.
Other elements of gold are shown with a mustard paint portray hidden gold and gold dust stirred up into the air.
I'm trying to decide how much to disclose or cooperate among the real treasure hunting professionals and naysayers.

Turtle Heads sticking out of the ground on those that I have seen one was a turtle head and one was a ell, there was 30 or so symbols near-by and an old hand dug hole the right distance/size/depth with right the neccsary information to lead you to it.
