Re: Possible treasure sign carved into tree
I have a picture but its so high up on the tree it's hard to make out. I be made a drawing of it ill post as soon as I get a chance. I think the three tears are three creeks to cross and the three feathers are three hills or mountains any guesses?

The previous poster writes the truth and a good photo of the carving would not give away your project unless you tell where the tree is located.

Re: Possible treasure sign carved into tree
growdude,
I see that you are trying, that's good. I also see where others are trying to help and that is good.
The picture is blurry, the drawing looks good.
In my opinion, the fellows here can give an opinion, based on your drawing and a blurry picture.
Still, they are limited, since they can only see (drawing)what your eyes have seen.
Sometimes things are missed in translation.
A clear picture would be nice, if you want a better interpretation by those that are able.
Keep trying.

Re: Possible treasure sign carved into tree
OK from measuring diameter of tree using a formula from an arborist website the tree is between 400 and 500I years old so it fits timeframe.looked up Spanish helmets it matches real close one from the timeframe so I'm definitely in the right area lots arrowheads in the areato
