    LOOKING FOR INPUT ON THESE MARKERS FROM SO. CALIFORNIA

    I found these markers yesterday and would like some input as to what you think they may mean. The first one I am pretty sure is a marker for which fork to take as I found it at the fork of a dry wash here in Southern California. The second I am not too sure of.

    I would say the standing one is a cairn look over at the (pig) thread for more info.

    If you look at this trail marker there is a bump on the right side as shown in your picture.
    If the trail splits the main trail for walkers and animals is on the right.
    "Everybody dies"
    "But not everybody lives."
