owl and key

Hi!

I just want to ask what's the meaning of the owl/M? and I found a key on a stone at the back of a small waterfalls... whats the meaning of that? and there's also a glowing stone (when there's no moon or light at the place)

An owl First of all is a bird.
Many people think the owl corresponds with the M and the mythological figure Minerva.
I however have found only two meanings that work... (so far)

first, It indicates a cache site or vault site and points the direction of travel to get to it.

second, since it is a bird...A bird indicates a change of course in the trail. (usually)

If you find the owl has horns (most common) use a walking stick to make a line up the center of the body to a point between the horns it will line up with a marker in the distance.
