Anyone see anything on the tree to the left?....
this is at a old celler hole in upstate ny near the old eerie canal "about 20 feet away from the hole",its on the 1855 beers atlas so its a old spot..

i do see the "d" but i dont think it is a carving. if it were a carving, the tree would have had to have been much older. that tree cant be much more than 20 yrs old. probably less.

ya the tree does have a "D" carved in it,what it means who knows but the tree is way to young for it to mean somthing good$$$,but figured id post it anyway ..... thx all

Looks like a capital L and a small w to it's right inside a three dided box to me. Capital L being in cursive.
