Skyline monument rock outcrop with face profile and hoyo in basin canyon area, [ same area, southeast fork ]

Another skyline monument rock outcrop with ' U ' cut through it. The ' U ', meaning [ door-way or opening ], located left side area of rock waterfall. We are still in the same area. We left the bear monuments traveling east high near the top of the canyon wall on the old trail. Then came to the fork in the canyon below and traveled the right fork towards the southeast approx. 1/4 mile from the bear monuments. Down about 800 feet into the canyon is what I called the basin because the dry river bed was slightly wider and located below a 200 feet rock waterfall. The length of the basin after the fork bend in the river is approx. 1/8 of a mile to the rock waterfall. Also pass the rock waterfall going southeast and increasing in altitude the canyon continues and the adventure. Their are also many more amazing monuments and markers there, and further up the canyon. For now we are seeing all the many different monuments in the area of the basin only. When I first saw so many monuments in a small area of approx. 1/8 mile by 1/4 mile it amazed me. It was very exciting, like I stepped back in time. The thought that entered my mind was that there had to be a lot of activity going on here for several hundred years, '' the evidence of the cut and worked rock proved it to me.

Cool looking skyline monument rock outcrop on top right of canyon ridge above the previous monument boulders below on canyon floor in east fork of canyon. It is about 500 feet or more from the skyline monument rock outcrop to the monument boulders below.

Trailrider:
Dropping tons of gold on the Chinese.......or anyone else, would cause the worldwide value of the metal to drop like a rock. That's why, if anyone of us were to find a cave loaded with gold bullion......we would NOT start selling it all off at once. We would sell a few bars at a time and reinvest that money into something else other than gold. I suspect that that is why the government took the gold from Victorio Peak and hid it away again. To prevent the world value from bottoming out. The value of gold is based on it's rarity........not it's beauty. It's industrial use is based on the fact that it is an inert metal......it does not combine with any other chemical or material in nature. Water does not rust it whereas water does combine with silver to form silver oxide.......RUST in plain language. LOL And since electrical current travels primarily on the surface of a conductor, that is why gold makes a far better choice for electrical connectors than does silver in critical systems and components.

In the close shot of the hoyo, there's a really ugly guy on the right wall......wearing a large black "X" on his left cheek.

i am thinking left again,top left ledge looks like a man and his dog with treat hanging from mouth,below in orange u have maybe soldier head and lower maybe a #7,top right u have a possible shadow heart and lion looking left and blow that looks like bear or animal looking left also?

First; To give the Chinese that much gold bullion would give them possible control of the world's gold prices. BAD MOVE.

Second: In that photo the face looking right is sitting directly on top of an older head carving of a possible pharoah. That pharoah has to white eyes with black pupils and he has a pharoah-type chin beard. I suspect that the Spanish reworked the pharoah's headdress into the top profile.

Continuing east toward flanks of mountain on east fork of canyon. Appears to be an Ancient Indian drill hole used to ground grain.

That large face/head on the right is plainly there. It kinda looks more like a Padre wearing his robe with the hoodie up on his head.
That hoyo is the key to finding your next signs. Since it is up high and you can see sky, I believe it is a trail monument meant to show you to the next important trail sign / monument.
Old Dog once posted:

Trail markers that have hoyos are usually directional.
They are sight specific as well, they give a limited view of a very small area.
One that may be cluttered with similar things that will distract the viewer from what was placed
there to look at.
The hoyo helps one discriminate from all the fakes by focusing the view on a small given area,
or even a single sign.

One or all of those pointers within the hoyo will indicate where to look for your next sign. If you can't see the small area of ground from this side, then go to the backside and look through. It would be a good idea to take plenty of photos looking through the hole brom BOTH sides. That way you can study the photos at home.
